SDC234: Time Challenge - 30 Minutes or Less

After a couple of fun days enjoying the Leap Day Blog Hop for the new Stampotique release, it's time for this week's Stampotique Designer's Challenge. Our hostess is Sue Davies and she is challenging us to a "Time Challenge", make something in 30 minutes or less. Here is what Sue says about this challenge:
"We can sometimes get caught up in making big production pieces. My challenge to you this week is to make something in 30 minutes or less (not including time taken to gather your supplies) I look forward to seeing what you create."
Here's my little paper-pieced project.  I thought I would share a few things that I tried to help save time.  I hope they help as inspiration for your own quick projects.

  1. Use patterned paper, scraps, or ready-made papers for your backgrounds and images.
  2. Keep your color palette simple.
  3. Use coordinating markers or pencils for highlights and letters.
  4. Use the clear piece that comes with your stamp positioner to stamp your images on so that you can play with their position before gluing them in place.
