Some do like it hot, but I am not one of those people. We have had the most stellar, uncharacteristically warm weather here over the past week and I have been hiding inside with the a/c cranked! I thought I'd put some of my indoor time to good use and share a project that I completed for an international bookmark swap a while back. Swaps are so much fun - I just love receiving mail, and there's no mail better than art mail! Here are the projects I sent to my partners abroad.
“Summer, dropping so easily a delicious everything upon your skin and lips. Like a never-ending kiss—taunting, deep, and luscious. The sun. The heat. The thousand echoes of a timelessness before time, when every day seems longer than the next and no day seems likely to ever truly end. Summer.”
