My First Pocket Letter Swap

Admittedly, I'm not really one for jumping onto the latest craze in anything.  However, I'm usually all in for just about any kind of swap, so when friends suggested a pocket letter swap, I was too excited!  I watched some videos, got a few ideas, picked a theme, and gave it a go!

Here is my very first pocket letter inspired by my mom's efforts creating my wedding dress.  It features mementoes reminiscent of our big day 13 years ago.  Thank you to Debbie Reid for getting such great pics of it after she opened it!
Centre: fabric from the overskirt of my wedding dress
Middle row: ribbon from my bouquet,
fabric from the underskirt of my wedding dress, lace from my updo
Bottom row: music from my grandmother's music book,
text from my other grandmother's novel
Here is Debbie's beautiful letter that she made in return.  The details are amazing and she absolutely nailed the theme and colors to match my taste.  She even put pretty border paper on the spine - so clever!  I'm thrilled that this stunning piece of art is the first pocket letter in my album!
