Bombshell's May Sketch Challenge

As part of my reign as "Miss May" over at Bombshell Rubber Stamps, I have been invited to play along with their Sketch Challenge for May!

Here's the sketch.  Flip it, flop it, and make it your own. Then enter your project into the challenge on Bombshell's Blog. You don't have to use Bombshell's stamps, but if you do, you'll receive an additional chance to win a $20.00 gift certificate to Bombshell's store!

Here's my take on the sketch featuring the oh-so-adorable Peek-A-Boo Geisha digital stamp set!  I made the large parasol shape to match the digi stamp in Silhouette Studio and cut it out on black and Asian papers.  The geisha was printed X-Press-It paper using my new Brother HL2240 laser jet printer (purchased just for digi's) and was then colored with Copic markers.  I hope you'll play along too; sketch challenges are so much fun! :)

  1. This is stunning. I love, Love, LOVE that parasol! (Can you hear my resolve about a digital cutter waivering?).

Gorgeous coloring of the Peek-A-Boo Geisha!

Wonderful coloring. I also bought a Brother laser printer for digi images. :D
