Tuesday, February 11 with Stampotique

Today I would like to share 3 techniques!

  1. Shaped card: First, I stamped the chair on polka dot paper and pasted it to my card front.  I then cut through all layers (chair, card front, and card back) to create a shaped card.
  2. Paper piecing: Next, I stamped the chair on a baroque paper, cut out the arm covers and chair skirt and pasted them over the polka dot paper.
  3. Altered stamp: Finally, I inked the edges and face of the spotted monster (avoiding the dots in the centre) and drew in little hearts instead of spots just for Valentine's Day!

Of course, I couldn't resist the sentiment!

  1. Love the chair and how you have shaped your card. Monster looks good too. Fabulous wordplay on your sentiment :-) xxx
