It's time for this week's Stampotique Designer's Challenge. Today the Stampotique team is asking you to try a technique that is new to you. This is always a fun challenge to see what techniques everyone will be using and what we might be missing out there.
Have you heard? Stampotique has issued its 2014 design team call - with two options!
I'm always excited to try new techniques! This time I was inspired by the seasons changing and decided to try creating a unique background by stamping with leaves!
I ventured out into the garden and borrowed a leaf from the beautiful brown-eyed susans still in bloom. I smooth brayered the leaf with IMAGINE Crafts®/Tsukineko® Kaleidacolor™ Dye Inkpad (Tomato Vine), placed it face-down on my background paper and rolled over it with a dry sponge brayer to transfer the ink.
I love how it turned out and used it for a background for an ATC.
