SDC103: Create From An Envelope

It's time for this week's Stampotique Designer's Challenge!  This week I had the honour of choosing the theme! I love the idea of using every day objects for art.  So, I would like you to try creating an art project that incorporates an envelope - any shape or size, new or used.  You can flip, fold, score, tear, ink, paint, stamp, doodle, embellish or keep it clean and simple - just have fun!

Here's my little project - a birthday card and matching lined envelope for my god daughter. The card was created by cutting the ends off an on envelope and then folding it almost in half to create some pockets.  I think she'll like it as there will be a movie gift card attached to the tag inside the front pocket!  For all of the stamping, I have used a new favorite purple ink - IMAGINE Crafts®/Tsukineko® Memento™ Dye Ink (Elderberry) - in luv with it!
