SDC50: Wearable Art

It's time for another Stampotique Designer's Challenge.  This week is my turn to select a theme and I am going with Wearable Art!!  I just love the idea of wearing something that you made yourself - something totally unique that reflects your own personal sense of style!

Will you take something apart and rebuild it, alter an existing item or will you start from scratch? And then of course, the real test will be - will you wear it!?!

Here's my little bobby pin hair clip creation for this theme.  The flower centre has been colored with Copic markers, punched out, covered in glossy accents, layered over a little scalloped circle and then surrounded by baby pearls.  It was then attached to a large brad that has been pushed through these beautiful paper flowers and the head of a bobby pin to create a fun hair accessory or lapel clip.

  8. Did you draw the inside of the flower yourself, or did you find it somewhere? I have been trying for years to re-find this wonderful artist and that looks like maybe it could be hers.
