This week at
The Stampsmith Challenge,
Lynne challenges us to create a project highlighting a Starring Role, using at least one
Stampsmith stamp. The Stampsmith is known for it’s images of actresses, famous films and divas which would be perfect; however, she invites us to push the boundaries of this challenge and explore the star of anything. Be sure to check out the design team inspiration and link up your project over at
The Stampsmith Challenge! Your odds of winning are fabulous - give it a go!!
Here's my card for this challenge. The background paper has sugary glitter throughout the pattern, so it really shines in person - not sure the picture really captures it...
The secret of staying young is to live honestly, eat slowly, and lie about your age.

I Love Lucy! Awesome card Val! What colour ink did you use? Received my stamps in the mail Friday. I can use one for this challenge!
ReplyDeleteHi Debbie...
ReplyDeleteThank you - glad you like it :) I used Chocolate Ancient Page to stamp Lucy on high-gloss card stock. Her garment is colored with a sponge using Spun Sugar Distress Ink and her earring and lips are colored using a damp paintbrush to pick up ink from a Tombow marker colored onto an old CD. The sentiment is stamped with Vintage Sepia Versafine ink. Whew! Bet you never guessed so many inks! LOL!!! I can't WAIT to see your entry!!
Rubber hugs,
Val :)
