TSC9: Try Something New - Using Any Stamp Company

Well, with the short month of February, it's already time for another Stampsmith Challenge!

I had the fun of choosing the theme for this week and  I finally settled on "Something New".  I am hoping that you will branch out and use a new technique, or dig out some new supplies waiting to be used, try a new stamp, join new challenges, employ a new layout, build something other than your standard project - something - anything - new to you!!

This week is a perfect chance to join The Stampsmith Challenge fun even if you don't have any Stampsmith stamps yet. You may use any stamps to create your project and join for your chance to win a $10 gift certificate to The Stampsmith Store.

Here is my creation for this challenge.

Thank Heaven For Little Girls II
For the background, I have used a new paper and have tried a new technique for me!  I have pieced together  coordinating one inch paper strips from a 6"x6" Basic Grey paper pad.  This stamp is also the first I have used from the Thank Heaven For Little Girls II sheet and the tear drop embellishments are a new purchase from the bridal isle at Michaels.  I have used the flowers and ribbon-lace on my paper shoes at Christmas but this is the first time I have featured them on a card - so lots of firsts here!! LOL!
