To help give you some ghastly ideas, the design team is showcasing some seriously spooky scenes so head on over to the challenge blog for a boo and leave them some love! We hope you'll play along for your chance to win a $30 gift certificate to expand your Stampotique Originals stamp collection.
Here is my effort for this challenge. It's funny how sometimes the idea in your head does not quite translate to the "canvas" (so to speak)... that's what happened in this case - I think I should have stuck with my scary Halloween tag instead! LOL! At least my spare (icky!) cutter left me with some really kewl distressed looking edges on my layers - a happy accident!

"Hold on, man. We don't go anywhere with "scary," "spooky," "haunted," or "forbidden" in the title."
From Scooby-Doo
I love how it turned out and the sentiment you added is perfect-how funny!
ReplyDeleteFabulous piece, Valerie. The bird with the skull... super!
ReplyDeleteI think this has turned out really well, especially with the sentiment you've used.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the comment on my blog and fyi I went to check on my VersaFine and yep, it's not dried, lol. It certainly had me fooled. Had to do a touch up with a cotton bud after testing. Hopefully it will be dried in a couple of days. Will invest in Ancient Page asap!
Oh I LOVE this one!!
ReplyDeletea wonderful happy accident indeed...great sentiment to go with your choice of stamps!
ReplyDeleteWell I'm glad you kept it in, because I really love it!
