SDC18: Spooky, Creepy, Crawly

I'm excited to be the hostess for this week's Stampotique Designers Challenge as we pay homage to the upcoming "Fright Night"!  I'm embracing my dark side and have challenged everyone to create something spooky, freaky, ghoulish, dreadful, dark, mysterious, creepy, ghastly, tragic, grim, shocking, wicked and fun using only Stampotique Originals stamps!  (If you have not yet started your Stampotique collection, please join us on the second Wednesday of every month when you may use any stamps.)

To help give you some ghastly ideas, the design team is showcasing some seriously spooky scenes so head on over to the challenge blog for a boo and leave them some love!  We hope you'll play along for your chance to win a $30 gift certificate to expand your Stampotique Originals stamp collection.

Here is my effort for this challenge.  It's funny how sometimes the idea in your head does not quite translate to the "canvas" (so to speak)... that's what happened in this case - I think I should have stuck with my scary Halloween tag instead! LOL!  At least my spare (icky!) cutter left me with some really kewl distressed looking edges on my layers - a happy accident!

All stamps by Stampotique Originals:
Tree, Web, Heads, Crow from Birds and Bugs Cube,
Scull from Halloween Cube 2

"Hold on, man. We don't go anywhere with "scary," "spooky," "haunted," or "forbidden" in the title."
From Scooby-Doo

  3. I think this has turned out really well, especially with the sentiment you've used.
Thanks for the comment on my blog and fyi I went to check on my VersaFine and yep, it's not dried, lol. It certainly had me fooled. Had to do a touch up with a cotton bud after testing. Hopefully it will be dried in a couple of days. Will invest in Ancient Page asap!
