SDC16: Vintage

I can't believe it's time for another Stampotique Designer's Challenge again already!  Where did September go? LOL!  This week Milo is our hostess and she has challenged the design team to create a project with a VINTAGE theme (using Stampotique stamps only).  Be sure to join in the fun an link up your creation to the SDC for a chance to win a gift certificate to the Stampotique shop!!

Well, I absolutely love anything with a vintage look and the beautiful Kim P. and I have been playing around with making all sorts of great paper flowers this week, so I have combined the two ideas!  Here I have stamped and distressed the paper before making the flowers, added a hint of netting and colored some cream pearls black using my Copic markers (wow - does that work well!!)  What looks like a giant pearl in the middle of this flower is actually an antique button - too kewl!
Vintage women: Beauties
Vintage buttons (on flower paper): Buttons
Word text (on paper flower): French Text

"I wept as I remembered how often you and I had tired the sun with talking and sent him down the sky."
