Flowers For Fun

Last week really was all about making paper flowers!  It was mom's birthday on Saturday, so I made my very first paper flower into a card for her (shown below) and she loved it!  The glitter on the netting is a bit difficult to see in this picture, but it's very sparkly in person - so pretty!  I used a plain black brad in the centre of the flower and then added a Swarovski gem for a bit of glam (I like how that turned out!)

Brocade (on flower): Hero Arts
Script (on flower): Stampin' Up
Sentiment: Anna Griffin

Here are some more paper flowers created into the wee hours of the morning while I watched (count 'em) TWO movies in my craft room!  Can you say, "sucked into the vortex"?! It was soooo addictive and now I have a little stash to share around!  Hope you like 'em :)

The ABC Challenge is "D for Distressing" right now and I thought this card and these flowers fit the bill perfectly!  Drop on by for some amazing eye candy, get inspired and add join the fun!
