SDC13: Wings, Wings, Wings

This week, Willy Anderson is excited to take her first turn to host the Stampotique Designer’s Challenge. In this challenge we are going to fly with the theme ‘Wings, wings, wings’. We'd love to have you play along with us! It is the first challenge of the month so you can use any stamps but if you have any Stampotique stamps then it would of course be great to see what you can come up with using those!

Here's my winged creation... hope you like it! :)

This creation uses a collage of images in the background with one main image stamped on top.  The background images are all stamped using the same color of ink.  The flowers are achieved by punching a   flower out of a piece of paper and then stippling the hole left behind to create a stencil effect (using the same color of ink as the stamped images).  Some sponging was added to the background to create some shading.  The bee has been stamped in a darker color on the collage background and then another bee has been stamped and cut out over top with the wings popped up and stickled.

All stamps and sentiments are Stampotique Originals:
Big Bee, Daisy Daisy, Splatter Blob, Splatter, In Stitches, Fresh Picked, Bee-otch

"How doth the little busy bee Improve each shining hour, And gather honey all the day From every opening flower."
Isaac Watts
