Woot! The paper challenge is almost over! Tomorrow, we'll be "allowed" to buy paper again!! YAY!
The exercise in restraint has actually shown me how much I spend on paper. I have enjoyed having some extra $$ for purchasing other stamping supplies (like rubber!) this month. Perhaps this has been a long enough break from buying paper to slow me down for a while!? (hmmm.... guess time will tell :)
So, it's time to take inventory of what I have actually picked up for paper this month (when I wasn't supposed to be buy ANY paper) and the rational behind WHY I bought it - and whether or not my rational was "correct"...
- from Photo Memories: the new BoBunny papers that I posted on March 25th (because if I didn't buy them that day, there would be none left on May 1 - untrue - as of Tuesday, I think there are some of each paper left at the store!)
- while in the US: the Far East Stack by DCWV (because I already have one so it's not REALLY cheating - plus it was 75% off and I'd never see it for that price again - true - what a deal!)
- from Photo Memories: the Tim Holtz Vintage Shabby Paper Stack (because there were only three in the store and the first one sold before it hit the shelf - so SURELY there would be none left on May 1 - untrue - there is still one on the shelf!)
Given the scope of my addiction, I think I did quite well! LOL! AND, I have kept true to my word - I haven't used any of the papers yet - c'mon tomorrow - get here soon - I can't hold out any longer!!!
Thanks to everyone who played along - this was great fun - and a $$ saver!!
Cheers,
Val
