SDC341: All You Need Is Love - Week 2

Welcome!! It's time for this week's Stampotique Designer's Challenge and the theme is all about love.  The beautiful new Make Magic background stamp was perfect for this theme so I ran with.  I wanted to include the new Geisha stamp too, but I wanted her mirror image so I stamped her on velum and colored her with pencils for a soft look once she was flipped over.  I look forward to seeing what you create when you play along!

SDC340: Favourite Stamp

Welcome back! It's time for this week's Stampotique Designer's Challenge.  This time, the challenge is both easy and impossible - using a favourite stamp.  Easy because there are so many favourites - just hard to choose what ones to use!  I think Moon Girl has to be my all-time favourite; I just love how she can so perfectly sit on just about anything!  For this quiet scene, I opted for paper piecing each of the elements on different papers and I added a bit of color to Moon Girl's wings and the RIP letters with Copic markers.

SDC333: Pets

Welcome back just in time for this week's Stampotique Designer's Challenge theme of pets!  Stampotique has so many fun pet ideas that it was hard to decide which ones to use, but I've always thought that pigs make adorable pets so I ran with it.  I used a piece of clear mylar filament bent in such a way as to make piggie float above the ATC.  It's a great option for mailing since it can lay flat and pops up when opened :)

“The wolf sniffed beneath the door to be sure this was a human cottage. The scent was undeniable. No pigs, except in bacon form. The wolf thought bacon form was a very sensible way for pigs to behave.”
